I am a community-based artist and researcher working on the relationship between creativity, health, memory and everyday life. I hold an Ed.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where my research explored embodied thinking and the mind-body relationship. Over the past two decades I have led participatory arts projects in schools, health centres, museums and public spaces across the United States and India.
I started Stir a Memory, a food and art project in 2010. That expanded to Memories are Stories, a project that invites people of all ages to engage with storytelling and sensory memory through creative expression.
